A little about Stacie
Stacie Hunt is the mother of five children, a hospital birth, a home birth, two c-sections and a VBAC at home. She has two grandsons, both of which she delivered at home.
Stacie is a Certified Professional Midwife and is licensed in the state of Tennessee. She lives in Leoma Tennessee and offers Midwifery Services, including: Homebirth, Waterbirth, Well Woman Care, PAP Smears, Prenatal Care, Postpartum Care, Blood work, Breastfeeding Support, Labor Support and much, much more! She serves Southern Middle Tennessee and Northwest Alabama families, as well as our local Amish community. Stacie trained with The Farm Midwives and has been a member of The Farm Midwifery crew for over 15 years. She teaches midwifery assistant and herbal workshops. She is also a massage therapist and certified herbalist. In 2013 she founded the Whole Woman Wellness and Education Center in St. Joseph, TN. She was featured in the recent documentary, Birth Story: Ina May Gaskin and The Farm Midwives. Stacie strives to provide comprehensive care, and abide by the Midwives Alliance of North America’s Standard of Practice. She is certified in Neonatal Resuscitation and CPR. Laura is the mother of two children, both born at home. She lives with her husband & children in Loretto, TN.
After working in dentistry for 11yrs, Laura attended massage school in Mariposa, CA. From there , she went on to pursue her passion, midwifery. Laura has worked along side Stacie for the past 8 years. She has met all of the requirements to sit for the NARM exam. |
